Our work on a new album began in 2023, at around the time Michael and Dino invited Ivan to join as a guitarist. Since then our trio has been busy laying down tracks in its members’ respective home studios, experimenting, building foundations, and letting the style of music flow organically.
We are pleased to announce that the new release is nearing completion and very imminent! Finishing touches are currently being craftily applied by local mixing and mastering legend Ernie O, on an album that was made to bridge the spaces between weighty foreboding and gentler moments of beauty. Ernie, just like the three of us, has added his own individuality and flavor to these recordings, which have become a melting pot of darkwave, gothic rock and modern metal.
We’re hoping this all marks a welcome resurgence from one of Melbourne’s most enduring underground acts. Perhaps independent music’s strongest voices often dwell just beneath the surface—emerging when the time, and the darkness, feels just right. There are also some wonderful artists out there currently working on remixed material, and we can’t wait to see what new worlds they lure these new pieces into.
