Michael, Dino and Ivan are thrilled about this album, comprising of 9 new tracks, plus a bonus Chiron remix, and remixes by Paradox Obscur, Imbibe and SIRUS.
Four years in the making, this release marks a bold evolution in Chiron’s sound, paying respect to the project’s dark wave founding years, whilst also crossing into the territories of modern and progressive metal.
Expect summing of thick and brooding atmospheres, driving basslines, cinematic textures, downtuned guitars, and pulsing rhythms beneath haunting, intimate vocals. A “Dark Beauty” draws inspiration from gothic romanticism, urban isolation, the challenges of a modern world, and the allure of melancholy.
Fans of classic dark wave, post-punk and alt-rock will find familiar shadows here, but the incorporation of metal tones, and melodic sensibility are there to make this one urgent and contemporary.
