BIOGRAPHY
Founded in 1997 by vocalist Michael Aliani (aka Carrodus), after he left popular cult dark wave band Ikon, the original lineup included legendary Ikon bass player Dino Molinaro and members of Russian Rock band B2, Shura Bi-2 and Lyova Bi-2.
Beginning as a dark wave band, Chiron entered the new millennium with fresh concepts and a desire to take its music deeper than ever before. Recordings moved into new stylistic territory, soon incorporating sounds born of trip hop, electro, and dark trance through collaborations with award-winning DJ and producer Robert Anthony.
To this day Chiron continues to evolve, never setting itself creative boundaries. In 2022 the band reformed as a trio with Dino Molinaro and Ivan Bullock of Minorarc. These members comprise of a near century in collective dedication to dark, subversive and underground music. Their many individual arts projects have led them around the world, to opportunities as far reaching as Germany, Tokyo, Brazil and beyond.
In its highly anticipated new 2026 release “A Dark Beauty”, Chiron will pay homage to the project’s dark wave roots, whilst touching on tones of modern metal and gothic-rock inspired aesthetics.
